SOU． SOU x ChapterR x Billie recycled fabric spun dozens of patterned tote bags

The Billie Upcycling has developed a textile recycling system, “The Billie System”, which was fully operational in 2019 at its Tai Po plant in Hong Kong, aiming to give textile waste and used textiles a second life. The system converts overproduction of textiles into high-quality recycled fibers, which, when combined with other raw materials, can produce unique recycled yarns. The system won the Gold Award at the Geneva International Invention Exhibition and the Hong Kong Green Innovation Award for its “three no characteristics” of not consuming water, not discharging wastewater and not releasing toxic chemicals.
