Ninna-ji Temple, famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot in Kyoto, was founded by Emperor Uda in 888. Located in Kyoto, Renshu is the official certified manufacturer of Japanese tableware for Ninna-ji Temple. While protecting and continuing the tradition of the imperial supplies of Kyoto's Ninna-ji Temple, a World Heritage Site, Jinxiu also seeks to create Japanese tableware that meets modern practicality.
Kyoto ware (Kyo ware) is based on the Omuro ware that was opened in front of Ninna-ji Temple by Nonomura Ninsei in 1646. It is characterized by its diverse colors and shapes, thanks to the regional characteristics of Kyoto, the cultural center of Japan, and the exposure to various techniques. All of In-Shu's products are 100% handmade, made one by one by certified master craftsmen using a hand-pulled windlass. In addition, the characteristic of glaze is that it combines tradition with innovation and has gorgeous colors such as red, blue, and gold.
