Izuku Shoten

The establishment of Izuku Shoten can be traced back to the end of the Edo period, the Bunsei era (1818-1830), more than 180 years ago.

The exquisite lacquerware craftsmanship (wood processing, painting, decoration techniques, etc.) cultivated over many years is combined with the power of modern design to express the charm in a simple way. The products of Izuku Shoten give you a kind of "little happiness in life" (peace, healing, nourishment, kindness).

Since 2014, they have collaborated with domestic and foreign designers to combine lacquerware craftsmanship with design to develop simple yet attractive products - the "isuke" brand.
